Strange Mind, isn't it..

Today somehow i got to read one blog which made me think about it. And here it goes in form of blog. that blog was written by harshika sethi. I met her only once few days back when she visited Mumbai for her exam. Quiet an interesting gal. http://girlwithsmallhands.blogspot.com/2009/12/letting-go.html is the blog.

Here she has written about her discussion with her uncle which was quiet an interesting topic. My opinion about mind working was always fascinating. I think human mind is most interesting and nicely crafted thing god has ever created. Because it's the worst thing and the best thing for the world. Any day one worst and capable mind can spoil full earth and one great and capable mind can turn earth in a very beautiful place to live[more than current, it's my favorite planet.. as never been to any other planet :)].

In that blog she wrote how your memories fade away along with time. I totally agree with that as from few year back i started to realized that i have lost few memories of my childhood but the good thing is if you start recalling those you can recall with a little effort now.. but as one become older. It get more harder to recall such sweet memories. I do recall those days every now and then while laying on the bed and trying to sleep. Year by Year, month by month, day by day.. seriously i can recall only few shots of my LKG :(. I wish i could have a camera then to keep every shot along with me to recall. You i use to think i was studying in a very big school (by size) but when i visited it when i was of age 20 that time i realized it was a small one. I remember my 2nd class. When i was playing in the class room with divider and my teacher came from back to slap me on my head but as human nature i tried to save myself and divider goes right in her palm. shit scary memory it's as fresh as happens yesterday. i can recall the cover of pencil box i was using that day [it was pink].

I think people can remember things they want to remember. Because they do recall those quiet often. Those memories can be good and can be bad... but for sure one can't forget the special one's like first kiss.. first girl friend. Like i can remember how i proposed my first girl friend.. shit i was so nervous. She had seen my legs shaking in nervousness. :) nice feeling. Got smile on face... But here are some bitter one also which need not to be written to think about them any more needlessly.

Hope people will start recalling their life old memories time to time and often so those memories remain fresh and alive. Otherwise as harshika has said mind will heal those memories and in my words mind will erase that content from memory to free up some space, so it can be used for newer content. :) technical and geeky ?? leave it then go with harshika's words keep remembering good memories to keep those alive !!!!

Windows Folder Size 9.10 GB

Hmm....

Windows strikes again. Today i noticed my system doesn't have any space left to save even a zip of pictures from internet. After a slight investigation i was sure that windows is doing something goofy stuff. My system's C:\Windows folder was taking 9.10 GB of HDD space. After 30 minutes i am able to reduce it to 5 GB which is still big but i can live with it right now.

So following are the step which might help other also. Deleting the folders can safe space but do it on your own risk as it can lead you from no turning back stage

1. Delete "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations"
2. Delete "C:\Windows\$NtUninstall*****" folders These folders are hidden...
3. Delete "C:\Windows\$hf_mig$"
4. Check for file "C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP" if present delete.
5. Delete "C:\Windows\Prefetch"

I had to check now another folder called C:\Windows\Installer this folder holds the unistallation files of application you install on your computer. But if you manually delete the applications then MBs of space is occupied by uninstallation files will remain in this folder for eternity. just use following command if you have installed the window installer cleap up utility already other wise install. After installation go to programfiles folder and in there you will get Windows Installer Clean Up folder. In that there is a command line tool which can be used to remove orphan uninstallation files from C:\Windows\Installer. Type the command given on command prompt once you are in same directory on command prompt.

C:\Program Files\Windows Installer Clean Up>MsiZap.exe G!

this command will helped me free 100s of MB space on my disk.

Following are few more thing which helped me to gain 6GB space from 4GB. I stopped the restore points. Use Control Panel, System, System Restore. After this i moved page file as system managed from a high value saved by me last year when i had enough space.  :) hehehehe

Ok now i have enough space to happily write this blog... Hope this help others also..

The guy named Raja !..

Yeah.. Some people have guessed it correctly.. I have a very good frd whose name also start from R.. but writing about him is something will take 4-5 blogs and then also i can't finish that. But this blog is about people i met in mundane moments, let me clear the meaning of the title of this blog. This blog is about how Raja named people has a good impact on my life not about A Guy named Raja.

One more important thing is why i took this much long time to write this specific blog. Actually i was studying the IT Act 2000 and IT Act 2008. So i will not lend up in any trouble again. Anyway last time also i was safe but i removed that blog "A Company without name" because i didn't wanted to hurt anyone's feelings through my blog. Sole intention of my blogs are to share my exp. with others [not only to a specific group]. 

Very first encounter with Raja named guy was when i was of 10-11 year old. I was traveling towards my grand pa's place. This guy met me in bus. He was coming back from Dubai and being naughty enough i got attention from fellow passengers from bus. He played along with me for an hour and introduced me with my first foreign currency. Yeap i got 10 Dirham from him.

Next guy named rajai met was around 4 year ago. Yes he is the one most of you were waiting to read about. What i am going to write about him. There is nothing new what i want to write as i know him very little only on the professional front i come to know about him. Very first time when i met him he had to take my interview. That time i wasn't very good in communicating and a bit less in confidence. But i don't know how come i cracked the interview and got the job.

Later during the probation period once i told Raja i don't want to work anymore here. That time he taught me how to fight till the victory. He sat with me for next 2-3 hours and shown me anything is not impossible. [Ya some people can think i am just writing, but this is what my first impression about Raja]. Later There were many time when my office mates ask me to get some permissions from Raja by saying "Go ask your brother". And i never felt bad as this is the way i use feel about Raja. There was another incident when we in office were talking about how bad i feel in being the company and in bangalore. One of my frd in office wrote a mail and shoot that to Raja from my mail-id about my resignation [some 1 and half year ago from when i actually left that company]. That time also i just have to tell raja there was a mistake on adding mail address at To field. If it would be any other management person it could be a big scene.

I never like when he use to utter the F word. This i told him also. I never liked when he use to be like other management guys. I don't know whether i was wrong in thinking that he is different from others or he was one of them. I learnt from him many good things which are helping me till now.

The biggest reason i left that company was him. As i started feeling like i have lost the mentor-ship. His guidance became limited and i had to interact with someone not at all likable person.  I have observed that during that period he was a bit diff. a bit tense, rash, angry  which wasn't his attribute as par my knowledge. Hope if he is feeling any problem soon those will resolve and he will become the same. Guiding and teaching newbies. I heard from some of new company fellows that it's reverse of my exp. for them as being a newbie in that company. I hope they will get the same raja as i got to know. Where i use to talk him as freely as i can talk with any of my frd, i hope others can do the same.

Yes i know many of you might not find this blog as interesting as my other blogs might be. But this blog was actually scheduled after my blog "A Company without name.."  but due to some reason it got delayed and lost the impact on readers. Anyway better late than never.

Overall i consider him a gentleman. He taught me how get and handle a true feedback.One of my frd asked me you should have balls to write about raja [Second in this blog]. Then i thought why i should fear for truth. Only fear is he shouldn't feel bad as he is a imp. person in my life who taught me many things for good.

Kissa Yoni ka....

Friends don't be surprised. There is nothing pornographic about this blog. This is the title of a play i saw yesterday. I watched this play at legendary "Prithvi Theatre" where raj kapoor and prithvi raj kapoor had once upon a time performed.

This is the first play i have seen in Mumbai. It was great experience to be touched by a vertical at which this city is best, "ACTING". Icing on the cream is the topic of this play.... yes it's very bold title, actually it's translation of play called "The vagina monologues". This play is written in 1996 but one of my frd told that this is a 30 year old play :) .... sorry bro it's my nature i don't trust till i am done with my research. I was stunned by the way actors performed the play. This play reflects the sex, relationships, and violence against women. YES violence against women which most people think it's the thing from history but still i think i have over heard some of the incidents which made me think that violence against women still exist in this whole world but not only in India, and not only in non-developed countries. This can happen anywhere on this planet with the help of a psycho/stupid person. So point is this happens and this is what the play try to cover and tell each of it's viewers that think and avoid this violence, to all of it's female viewers it tells don't be shy about your own body part and don't neglect/avoid it.

• Because He Liked to Look At It, in which a woman describes how she had thought her pubic area was ugly and had been embarrassed to even think about it, but changed her mind because of a sexual experience with a man named Bob who liked to spend hours looking at it. [Performed by Rasika Duggal and it's was too good to see her act and her too ;)]
  
• I Was There In The Room, a monologue in which Eve Ensler describes the birth of her granddaughter.

This play and after that a healthy debate with my room-mates left me in thought that is it right to project only one side of coin or is it really not possible to project/draw a full picture???? Many thoughts and More than that questions after these question very less answers left in mind. Mind is totally jinxed with so weird thoughts. Being in Indian family i know what a woman has to go thorough on the name of tradition and culture. But thanks to my parents [Might be because they don't have daughter which they would love to have one] they always told me to respect a woman/girl/female. Is it the same in many Indian families ? No !..... One of my frd [who is a FEMALE] who was not allowed to choose his spouse but she went with her own choice and married to her chosen of man [ Happiez endingz ]. So !... the contrast exist in our lovely India so does in world.

Play was so powerful and on some occasions extra vulgar which can be avoided [yes few frds will be not agree on vulgar but it's my opinion]. People argued me that that thing which u felt as extra vulgar was an art but i think spreading the message without being vulgar would be more beautiful art.

One more good thing i seen in the play was the courage to speak the [publicly] unspoken words. No matter how comfortable you are with your frds on speaking these words still there should be some kind of dignity while using the these unspoken words. One should chose carefully what (s)he is going to use in these kind conversation. Yes i can speak/discuss on any kind of topics with my frd [Point to be noted frds it doesn't matter frd is male or female and my frd knows it] thanks to my parents who gave me this much direction that i can choose what is wrong or right. Even if i choose wrong i come to know what is wrong :) so i can choose right next time. I guess this courage to speak unspoken words in a decent way people can get only from the family where they might have to be in the dignity ;) so don't be shy if your younger family member try to ask you about these unspoken words and give them a easy environment so they don't need to deal these words/topics as untouched, which can avoid a lot of problems.

So over all i feel it was a good experience to see that play. Some of the struggling actors were there too. Theatre in juhu was also very nice and interior was no less than great.

More than 3 Lacs in 4 Months

Hi Again to all,
Just few minutes back i have realized that there has done transactions of more than 3 lacs from me in last 4 months. Vivek [My college Jr.] and one of my room mate has done cross verification of calculations to make sure i haven't done wrong calculations as par habit. Now again why i am writing this.. because i want to write it :) . Anyway jokes apart actually i wanted to make a note for myself that i don't have to spend this much loose way again in future. Yes i admit people can think that this is for show off but frds just think now i don't have money for anything so what is there to show off. I have taken money from saving hence i have to start savings again. I have to lend money from frds to get bread and butter for next 10 days (Thanks to ram). For sure i haven't done any great thing with this money . I am really feeling ashamed after getting this reality in front of me. I could have purchased a car from this much money.. i could have invested this money in equity. I could have done many more other things which i have planned (I guess u know what i am pointing at Aravind M.). Yes i have done some purchasing for home but that's again a responsibility which one have to follow. Anyway no point on trying to make excuse, as i am the person who is responsible for making a way out of this mess.

Indian Individuality

Hi All,
I have been thinking about this from last few days. As in last few days i have met people from a special category to which many Indians belong. I have met many like them.. (i am not quiet sure if i belong to this specific category, please do post a comment if i am so.). Many of us [Indians, from now on i will be saying we for Indians and I for myself in this blog] don't even think about their own existence in this world. What they are doing what they should be doing. We people usually take cover of a group to which we are a part. whatever that group think we think, whatever that group like we like, whatever that group feel we feel. Where is the our own individuality??

When we will become mature enough to take our own stand. What WE like, we like! no matter anyone else like or not. I have seen and often get irritated with people who can't even say few words for their own will, wish and likings. Many of this kinda person always try to be in a group. They always speak when they are in a group who back them. Here one shouldn't take a wrong note that i don't like to be in group. I always had a big group of frds around me since college. Since i have started working i got few really good frds. But the point i want to make is i never try to follow what my mates are liking until i like that too. One can face these kind of followers very easily.
First sign of this kind of followers is [Please cross check you might be in that category also], they are much quiet when they are communicating with you one on one.
Second these fellows follows jackals who speak in chorus, meaning they try to back each other for anything, whatever one of them has said. Without even having a clue what they are trying to backup. ok ok sometime they have an idea whatever they are trying to backup is wrong! But still they do backup it because later sometime in future they might need this backup to speak up.

Ok now why i have been thinking about this so seriously? Good question !.. actually i really feel bad when i realize that i am living in a country which has world's second largest population and still we people have to look at other countries for world's best in any field. Ya i know i am being harsh.. we have some really good talent in India but still we are not the best in many fields where we can. For being the best we need to change our thinking. We need to start putting faith on our self. This is about being the one not someone. I guess many of my reader might have got what i wanted to share from this blog.... Please do post what you feel about it

What i write

Ok this is a really nice topic. many of my frds asked me what i write and why i write. Hmmm..... to answer this question i don't have to think much but i dídn't answered them right away as i wanted to answer my frds by writing. :)

What do i write ?
I write whatever happens near me. Whatever i feel. Whatever i think i can share over Internet. Whatever is striking to me. And let me tell you one of my writing has already attracted a legal notice. As my blog was too much straight forward and people can't digest the truth.

Why i write ?
I write because i think this is the best way to share the thoughts and ideas among people. But why blog because now a days my frds feels easy to read a web page have few paragraphs instead of a book. OK not all of my frds hate reading a book but none hate reading a web page :)

Anyway i will be updating my old and new posts if i see any post need any updates. So this post also can be awarded with updates if later on i think my writing cause or content has changed. Aur kyun na change karoon mera blog hai kabhi bhi change karoon :) :)

Not so plane simple visit to home

Hi All,
this happened on 4th of september 2009. I was about to go home for that i had to catch a flight around 5:40 PM. I was about to leave office around 4:30 but some how it got delayed as usual nothing goes according to the plan. After so much efforts i left around 4:50 PM from office. I was unable to get auto then for airport. airport is only 15-20 minutes away from my office. around 5:10 PM i got the auto and due to the indian traffic i reached the airport on exact 5:35 PM. now i have to get on the flight within 5 minutes which is not possible at all. But like always i had to give a chance to my luck and i entered to the airport with no hope and there u go. Flight is delayed by 1 hour. there was an accident on airport one plane cought into fire. i collected my boarding pass and rushed to security check and holla.... how can everything go smooth. My handbag is not cleared from security. Police asked me to come to X-Ray machine for cross check the doubtful item. He asked me to drag that item. I tried to find out the object removed all clothes and given back back for security check. Again i got the same item in bag now three police fellows gathered around me and people near me was trying to get a good view of possible criminal. Now this time i removed my all of the credit cards from the bag and all chargers and other wires from bag once again doubtful object still there in bag. By looking to those credit cards [10 cards] security fellows asked why u have these many cards again raising question for me being a threat. Now this time i have to squeeze my bag with my hands to figure out what there in my bag. Wow i got my lost iphone dock in my bag yes this is the object which our police was thinking to be a suspicious object.

Now i was free to go and other people who were watching this with full hope of watching a criminal has a strange expression on there face. Like they have lost something. like this have missed a chance.
After this my trip to home was quiet silent and nothing much happened till i decided to visit ram in chandigarh. I hired a cab and started my journey to chandigarh on saturday evening around 4'O clock. I asked my cab driver to stop the cab on any ATM so i can withdraw the money as i was having only 40/- Rs in my pocket. But this cabbie was in high spirit and started driving the car in high speed so we passed by nearly 3-4 ATMs. Later on i asked him to stop and come back for one punjab national bank ATM. Lucky me this ATM is out of order. Once again we start with nearly no money and we got one toll gate. He asked for 20/- Rs which i gave him and we proceed during this time my cabbie told that there is one more toll so we should have money. I asked how much he has. And here it is we have only 60/- Rs now as he has only 40/- with him. Now till the next toll we didn't got any ATM reason is again the speed of cab. On next toll we asked the toll collector that we have only 60/- with us and toll is 75/- Rs. He was surprized that how come a person in car can asked like this to lay off the toll. He was staring at us like we are some person from belonging to any other planet. anyway some how he got ready to manage only with 60/- Rs. Now we were happy that we can get money in chandigarh as there is no more tolls. But how can everything go smooth with me. From nowhere we got another toll [My cab driver doesn't had the latest info about tolls]. Now we have to pay 25/- Rs of toll and we have no money with us. This time we have to tell the toll collector we have no money with us and if he can swipe the credit card we can pay the toll. Again we got the same look which means which kind of fellows u r who don't have any money but travelling in car. After few minutes he let us go with promise of paying the toll while coming back. So overall this trip to home is somehow giving me totally diff exp. which i had never expacted.

Ok while concluding i would like to inform on delhi airport also security had to stop me for the same object and i have to tell them this is not something dangerous thing it's only iphone dock. After making an entry in the security log they let me walk for writing this blog.

JS Menu Over Drop down

hi all,

this time i am back with a technical blog. I have been working with one javascript menu. Everything was going fine till we have seen a notorious issue at our screen. This was about java script menu was going below select/dropdown control. As shown in image.

I found this is happening because select control is a windowed control and it has higher z-index over simple div which were used for creating the popmenu. Later i found a simple solution to overcome this issue. Similar to select control there is another control which has a high z-index but unlike this control respect the normal html control's z-index. Hence this control allow other html control's like div to come over itself. And this special control is IFRAME. One can see once i have used that control i can have menu over the drop down.

Okie dude and babes... here comes another topic on which i have real nice incidents to share. i guess you people also might have some exp. so you all are free to add as comments.. All the incidents i am keeping here are true..

Once few fellows started drinking tequila they had 2 liter of the drink. when they stopped drinking 1.15 liter of the drink was over. one person was vomitting and another was washing his face on washbasin. But on taking closer look you can find that the person who was washing the face actually trying to find out his organs in the vomitting as he just now had the chicken and everything was red. Hence he was tense that everything from his stomach. :) another fellow who just fell asleep was getting a kick for vomitting and he was trying to reach toilet seat by crawling as he wasn't able to walk. he was looking like a army man trying to reach to his post. another was putting his head under the water tap. later next during discussion they have figured out that few of them don't really remember what had happened that night. :)

Ok on next incident one fellow was that much drink that he went just behind to the fellow who was pissing and kept his hand just below the piss... both guys didn't had any clue what's going on. But just after 2 sec. everyone in that house was laughing out louder.

one fellow was trying to push the toilet wall as he wanted to make more space in toilet... ;)

another is like one fellow had too much of drink that after drinkin while sleeping he felt thrusty so he started searching for water on the place where water was 2 days ago just before switching the place for water. so instead of switching on the lights he was searching the water bottle by hands and during this searching he was getting people's face. making them scared. what's crawling on their face.

Merc and Umbrella

My First month in mumbai is quiet wet ;). It's July of '09 and it's a rainy month here. All over u can see the rain and people say this year there is no rain.. when i walk to office i can swim through the water. but still people feel there is no good rain.. i don't know what kind of rain they want. Anyway in this month i have seen so many things happening around. One incident which occured at my office canteen.

I just walked in to the canteen and i saw it's over crowded but as like all indians i have to fight for my place in this people jungle. With swinging arms and steady steps i walked towards the counter for ordering the food. I got the slip which i have to produce on food counter to get the food. Now i have to do the struggle for get a place to sit. In first and last glimpse i understood there is no place to sit alone. So i have to share the table with some one whom i don't know. Yeppy there is a chance to sit with girl. But "wah re meri kismat" none of the girl is sitting alone. One lean guy with very normal looks sitting on one table all alone. Here is the chance dude go and sit.. or stand and eat.

I walked to that fellow. He seems to a nice guy. We started talking about random topics which not at all related to us. like diamond jewellery and some highways.. then chat mover toward some relevant topics like phones, stock market. So over all he was a nice guy and we had a nice lunch. When we walked out of canteen we saw a heavy shower. Rain was on full pace. This guy seem a bit tense how he is will go out. I ask him to share my umbrella with me which he agreed after first polite refusal. We started walking towards my office and just after 10-15 steps he moved towards on Merc and opened the door. He offered me lift in "The Merc". I was like totally shocked by that merc i refused the offer which i still regret but what to do tht time i wasn't able to understand what to say. And i told that guy i prefer walking after eating. junk, shit, bullshit... i like to sit in Merc.. why wouldn't i.. please drag me in that. Later i really laugh out louder on myself that i was offering umbrella to a fellow who owns Merc. :D:D hhahahaha what a ****** joke !...


but the truth and reality is i refused sitting in that Merc which i still regret. :(

Got my gmaing machine

After a long wait i got this wish also completed. I got PS3 80GB on 8th Aug '09. This machine is ultimate gaming machine.

This is the picture quality i got when i started the game. The first game is Killzone 2, which comes free with the console right now. It has bluray player. Wifi joysticks with force feedback ( player feels the actual shocks of the effects during the game). Rotation is also there in joystick because of motion sensors. i can surf the internet on the console. I can play Movies from USB drive and watch them on HDMI channel.

Hi all,

This is the digital copy of 100s of years old image my grand ma has. This image is quiet old and been with our family from long time by now. Just felt like sharing it with all of my frds so putting a digital copy also.

My grand ma claim that this image has some fine work of silver [the gray part] and some gold [the yellow one] but i never checked that thing. this image is on paper. Every time i see this image i feel like re-energized.

BSOD with 0x0000008e (0xc0000005, 0x804e7418, 0xaa91b654, 0x00000000)

Over the week i was trying to install .Net 3.5 SP1 and every time i complete the installation system start crashing with BSOD [Blue Screen Of Dead]. My machine is IBMR50e with WinXPPro SP3 installed on it. So at first my guess was there is somthing wrong with driver isntallation during the .Net 3.5 SP1 installation. So i uninstalled the all .net frameworks by using framwork cleaning utility from url dotnetfx cleanup tool and updated all my machine's drivers. Later i tried to install all framework one by one as 3.5 SP1 install 2.0,3.0 and 3.5 framworks. Now as soon as i installed .Net 2.0 Framework i started getting BSOD. i knew there is some thing wrong with .Net framework installtion. I tried to check the event log by starting my machine in SafeMode. I got the following entry in EventLog

I Checked and found that these are the Exceptions KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED for STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION which in term tells about invalid access of memory. Which can be because of many issue few are null pointer access , with my less disk space, confusing about checking drivers installed during .Net framework installation. But as expacted these were not the real issues with my machine.
Now i tried to go for virus infect or malware check. I downloaded latest ComboFix.exe from combofix.org . I run this tool from safemode and followed all instruction as appear on screen. I allowed combofix to download microsoft recovery console and clicked yes if it appear to kill any running application like anti virus. Later i proceed till end without quitting or killing the ComboFix.exe and yeappy once combofix completed the process after rebooting it will take some 10 min to complete it's operation but that was worthy. Now i have .Net 3.5 SP1 framework and it's working like charm without any issues. Hope it can help you also if you ever face this kinda no clue problem.

Winamp global hotkays

I was great fan of winamp in my college time. That time i knew each and every shortcut key for using winamp without mouse. later since we passed college i never used winamp. few days back i found my room mate had installed winamp 5.0 on my laptop. I saw him using some hotkey which were new to me but were very cool. One can control the playback without even launching the winamp screen. One need to enable these keys from Option->Prefrences->Global Hotkays.

These key are really nice and easy to use. Now i am not using windows media player which was my fav. player in last few days for music.

No plastic in kurkure

now in this url i am not able to read the actual redirected url at first attempt as i have to unescape this url no make it human readable. I so recalled that i use to alert the javascript variable values from address bar at workplace.

so i tried this in addressbar javascript:alert(unescape("string to unescape"));

My Scuba dive at Thailand and info about places to dive in india

Hi,

I was thinking about writing this from long time, now i got a little bit time so here it is. I did scuba diving first time this year at Pattaya, Thailand alng with my brother. We booked a diving tour from padi instructor. It cost us some 4000 bhat[nearly Rs 6000] for 2 person [each 2 Dive]. They picked us from our stay next morning around 9 AM.

Some 30 minute later we were at the diving location already decided by our tour operator. There they told us about some theory about how to dive and what are the symbols we use underwater. What we will be doing there they some practice out side about balancing the pressure underwater. Yes this is very imp. i can tell from my experience, As one need to balance the water pressure with the body through ears and if one has cold please don't dive. I know how painful it can be if you are not able to balance the pressure (will tell you how that can be). We were five to dive that day 1 Dive instructor ,2 Dive buddies and we 2 brothers. Two dives were already planned for 45 minutes each. At first dive we learnt how to tell your dive buddy about oxygen outage,how to clean water from the eye glass, how to throw water out of mouth without removing the gas supply and use of the symbols. This dive was gr8 in overall learning and experiencing the underwater world.

For next dive we plan to just enjoy the sea life during full dive period. So no more learning only enjoyment. We didn't carry our digital camera on this dive as we were having a normal digicam and we were not sure how to carry it underwater [Later when we were doing some shopping we saw some plastic covers for digicam :( ]. Anyway we asked our tour operaor about clicking the images underwater trust me that doesn't worth because those image were so blur and low quality that i can't post those images here. Anyway we went for the dive with keeping in mind that atleast we should enjoy the dive. And here things started to get messy for me because my dive buddy was quiet novice and he took me down very fast, so fast that i wasn't able to balance the pressure and it was a great pain in my brain vains. anyway my dive instructor was quiet experienced that he figured out that something is wrong and he came behind us and took me up carefully and later he carried my dive buddy also :) . Anyway this wasn't that scary as it seems overall the dive was worthy and i would like to go again for diving. So i started searching where i can do diving in india. So here are some of the places in india where one can dive.

As i heard from people diving in Goa is not much great exp. as water is not clear but i heard there is a shipwreck which i feel will be pleasent to see. Some important things before you go for scuba diving
1. Never dive alone

3. Don't dive if you have cold, going through heavy medication, have recently faced surgery, just came from a flight or about to catch one.

Checking camera used for clicking image

Hi all,

Two days back i was in discussion with one of my frd that how to confirm when image was taken which camera was used for clicking that image. After one hour of search i was able to find out some easy ways to do so. Actually this information for which we are looking for is stored in the image at metadata part and called Exif data for the image. Now a days this information is kept in the images from nearly all cameras in world. One can use following link for getting that info from images

Ok there are some other ways also with even using any specific software. One can open the file with notepad or anyother file openning software. And by reading some specific locations which were easily indentified by vieweing them. just have a look on below image as understanding depends on computer knowledge i left it on you. which mode you choose to open the file. yellow ring tell camera make. red ring tells camera model and pink rectangle tells the date image is taken.

Tracking ip using email, tracking email

Hi All,
Actually today when i was chatting to one of friend i got one request from XYZ@gmail.com to add as friend at Gtalk. I accepted that And then started i got some nude images from that XYZ. Now when i was getting these mails i was thinking to figure out who (s)he is ???

i tried to check the mail header but as everyone knows that google removes the sender information from the mail header so hopefully i didn't find any thing useful there. Now the real mystery begins but after one minute thinking i got fairly simple idea. i have one server for http://abc.com there i kept one image and then i embedded the link of that image in my email and sent to the XYZ@gmail.com and bingo!!! as soon as that fellow opened the mail i got the IP on my server's Access log and i know with whome i am dealing with. :)

One can get the server access log location at win server using following steps:-

1. type %SystemRoot%\system32\inetsrv\iis.msc in run box
2. then right click on default website
3. then at website tab check the enable logging option
4. then click on the properties in that option. which will open a new dialouge.
5. now in this new dialouge box one can see the log path. and just below the path log file name is also provided.

Now once you got the current log file open that

I feel this is something really nice i am using this right now after come changes but here i am pasting there the original copied code from that forum(check it before you use it for your need)

it may need some extra handling to account for DBNull values in the columns that you are grouping by.

Synchronous process execution from VC++

Following is the Sample code for executing a process in VC++ synchronously. We can use System command also but that display a command propmt flash also. To avoid command prompt flash i have used earlier ShellExecute API but that runs a process Asynchronously.

ShellExecute just returns the value 42 [If it fails return value is suppose to be <= 32] and program execution proceed to next line of code. This can create problem when one want ShellExecute to complete it's processing before it go to next line of code in program. Following is the solution i implemented for the same after avoiding ShellExecute and ShellExecuteEx APIs.

fatal error C1083: Cannot open type library file: '<<AnyName>>.dll': No such file or directory

Hi,

This is one of the error you can encounter while building a project and it means whether developer don't have <<AnyName>>.dll on the machine or dll is not registered. I faced the same error as follows

fatal error C1083: Cannot open type library file: 'regobj.dll': No such file or directory
Later i corrected it by downloading the regobj.dll from
http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb60pro/update/6.0/w9x2k/en-us/regobji.exe
i place the dll in System32 but one can keep it anywhere they want.

Same can be done for <<AnyName>>.dll , just check do you have <<AnyName>>.dll on your machine. if not then get it on you machine by downloading or taking from any other machine. Once you have it on your machine then register it using one of the following
regsvr32 <<AnyName>>.dll
or
regasm <<AnyName>>.dll /codebase
